January 20, 1925 – September 21, 2022

Saul A. Cooper, 97, passed away at home Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Saul was born in Boston, MA to the late Harry and Ida Cooper. He is predeceased by his sister Pearl Black and his brothers Irving and Herbert Cooper. He is survived by his sister LeeAnn Hirsch. Lovingly married to Louise (Novick) Cooper for the past 67 years. Beloved father to Amy Weinberg, Nancy Cooper (Mark Shelford), Michael Cooper (Emily Cooper), and Peter Cooper. Devoted grandfather to Josh Weinberg and Erica Gilbert; Ben, Eitan and Tamar Bulka; Anna and Jack Cooper; Filip and Isabella Cooper. Proud great-grandfather to Ari Gilbert.
Saul served in World War Two in the Airforce, receiving a Purple Heart for his bravery. He was a practicing dentist who enjoyed golf and bridge in his free time. He loved the Red Sox. Saul was a devoted family man who prioritized his family above all else.
Services for Saul will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 12pm at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel in Brookline, MA. Following services, interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
Shiva will be held at the home of Saul and Louise Cooper, 232 Allendale Road, Unit 2D, Chestnut Hill, MA following services, and on Saturday from 12-4pm.
